12 Days of Giving: Mental Health

The demand for mental healthcare services is at an all-time high: 1 in 5 individuals will experience a mental health illness this year.

In Minnesota, a shortage of mental health providers disproportionately affects rural families, who are often forced to travel long distances to access care and support.

To provide the quality care our community needs, we must eliminate existing barriers and expand access to mental health services.

Fraser is here to help.

At Fraser, we believe no individual or family should have to travel over 35 minutes or 35 miles to receive quality mental health services.

That is why we are working to expand access to Minnesotans outside of the 7-county metro area through these initiatives:

  • Increasing telehealth services — eliminating travel barriers and providing therapy services to clients from the comfort of their home
  • Developing new clinic spaces — serving a greater number of clients and increasing access to care
  • Updating our electronic health system — eliminating communication barriers between partnering healthcare providers to provide whole-person care

Your support ensures we have the resources to increase our capacity to serve communities across the state. You can help an individual or family with special needs receive the care they need.

Because of you, our ability to show up for those who need us most is still possible.

Thank you.
