The transition from adolescence to adulthood can be difficult for many. Individuals with special needs may face additional challenges navigating this transition. Fraser can help.
Fraser offers Community Living Programs with three distinct housing options as unique as the people who live there. Our goal is to provide residents with the support to live as safely, comfortably, and independently as they can, while engaging in the community. You can hear more about the individualized options available to fit the wide range of needs for our residents in this FraserCast episode with Tiffany Byers-Draeger, director of Fraser Community Living.
Meet Jennie. Jennie is a resident at one of Fraser’s Independent Living apartments. She is a member of the Rock Star Book Club, founded by Fraser volunteers Jeff and Shari Hegna. Due to the current pandemic, the club now “meets” over FaceTime and telephone. According to Jeff and Shari, Jennie is a great reader. She likes to be the leader and help other people when they are struggling with a book.

At Fraser, we pride ourselves on being Minnesota’s premier provider of services specifically designed to help individuals with special needs achieve their dreams. Our community living standards exceed state regulations to provide supportive and dignified housing, vocational training, and independent living skills for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The way we conduct trainings and activities has changed because of the pandemic, but your support has helped us find new ways to engage our residents, like Jennie.
Your support for Fraser Community Living ensures integrated, whole-person care that addresses both the mental and physical concerns of each individual we serve — at every stage of life!
Join us in our effort to make brighter futures possible for people of all abilities.
