Workshop - Understanding and Managing Executive Function Challenges

Executive Function refers to the set of skills we use to solve problems and may be one of the least studied and most frequently overlooked contributors to academic and behavioral challenges. Individuals struggling with Executive Dysfunction are often seen as lazy, forgetful, unmotivated and easily distracted. Learn how this disorder impacts planning, flexibility, sequencing, emotional regulation, working memory, organization and self-control.


Discover ways to support young adults with organization, planning and strategies that address executive functioning challenges. Parents and professionals will leave with a better understanding of Executive Function, its role in daily living and learning, and how it is assessed and supported.
