Navigating MSP Airport for People with Autism and Disabilities

December 02, 2020

Having a loved one with disabilities or autism can make travel intimidating. Navigating MSP Airport helps ease you and your loved one’s anxiety with free, monthly practice runs through the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The program is a partnership between the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), Fraser and the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM). During a practice run, you and your family can:

  • Experience TSA security
  • Explore the terminal
  • Board a plane and meet a pilot
  • Prepare for takeoff
  • Gather helpful tips, information and resources

To register for an upcoming event, please contact NavigatingMSP@mspmac.org and include your name, phone number, when your next flight is occurring and with which airline.
