“I must never stop learning!”
Like many teens and young adults with Asperger’s disorder, Devin Flagg was unprepared to navigate the work world. “I did not know how to create portfolios, dress professionally, or how to answer the most hated question in every job interview: tell me about yourself.”
Devin enrolled in Fraser Career Planning and Employment for help. Participants can evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, and then practice needed skills in a safe environment. He learned how to handle himself professionally, and how to communicate with others about his sensitivities.
Now 23, Devin is finishing his associate’s degree and has an internship at a CPA firm. “The Fraser classes were intense, but the final product was worth the effort.”
