Group Therapy

Group therapy involves one or more psychologists leading a group of individuals in discussion about a common issue like depression, anxiety, chronic pain or substance abuse. Groups also support individuals with a family member who has been diagnosed with autism, mental health issues or a physical or intellectual disability. Some people choose to attend individual therapy while doing group therapy.

Fraser Group Therapy provides support, ideas and the realization that other people understand your situation. This can be a valuable tool for individuals who have just received a diagnosis of autism, mental health or disability. It is also helpful for siblings and family members of those individuals. Talking to people who have experienced common issues can provide perspective, hope and new strategies.
