Early Beginnings

Fraser Early Beginnings is an interactive play-based therapy that supports parents of young children (ages birth-48 months) with Developmental Disorders or Autism diagnosis. Children are recommended into the program based on a clinician's evaluation/assessment. Therapy is offered in-person and virtually, via telehealth.

Sessions include parent or caregiver involvement, and are founded on a structured curriculum utilizing strategies that are based on the Early Start Denver Model framework. Experienced clinicians provide parent coaching, with developmentally tailored strategies/approach to support a young child's social engagement, communication, and play.

The program focuses on the parent/child relationship, providing parent support and guidance. Homework is provided to parents to implement into the child and family's natural routines. Clinicians support families in identifying appropriate next steps, based on the child's individual strengths and needs following completion of the program.
