Mental Health Day Treatment
Intensive intervention for children struggling with mental health needs
Fraser Mental Health Day Treatment serves children who struggle with mental health needs, disrupted attachments, trauma, and permanency. Children attend the program for three hours a day, five days a week. Staff help children develop coping, problem-solving and social skills so that they can regulate their emotions and better control their behavior. Families have strong involvement in the program and receive support and guidance to help them work with their children to transfer these positive skills to the home.
Case management services are included, which assist a family in accessing, coordinating and benefiting from other needed services.
