Apartments designed for adults with developmental disabilities who are independent with minimal supports
Fraser Independent Living operates five apartment buildings designed for adults with developmental disabilities who can live independently with minimal support. Fraser was the first organization in the nation to offer this type of apartment rental program and has received national recognition for this unique model. The buildings are made possible through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Needed services are delivered to individuals on-site by a direct-care provider of the individual's choice.
Fraser Independent Living qualified staff provide: help with emergency situations, mediation of tenant issues, social activities within the building, upkeep of the building, assistance with community services that optimize quality of life for each tenant.
