Early Beginnings Telehealth
Fraser Early Beginnings Telehealth is a virtual interactive, play-based therapy to support parents who have concerns about their young child’s development.
Children, ages 12 to 48 months, are recommended into the program based on a clinical evaluation.
Parents or caregivers are provided telehealth equipment at no additional charge and ongoing treatment sessions will be conducted in the family home.
Experienced Fraser clinicians provide parent coaching, with developmentally tailored strategies to support your child’s communication, play and social engagement.
Sessions include a structured curriculum as well as techniques to implement into daily living. “An Early Start for Your Young Child with Autism” is provided to parents and used to guide sessions.
Evidence shows early intervention can result in dramatically positive outcomes.
What to Expect
Once a week for 12 weeks parents or caregivers will log in remotely to a Fraser provided computer. A Fraser clinician will focus on building the parent and child relationship, providing parent support and guidance.
Strategies are provided to implement into your daily routines. Fraser clinicians will support families to identify the appropriate next steps based on your child’s individual strengths and needs.
