The Story of Hearts for Josh
In December 2018, Laine Ciaramitaro’s cousin Josh took his own life. He struggled with his mental health for years and received services from Fraser for a period of time. Laine was having trouble coping with Josh’s death; she wanted to remember her cousin in a positive way and share a message of love and compassion – the way Josh lived his life. She began making and selling wool hearts, with the proceeds going to Fraser.
“I’m really happy I can donate to something that helped Josh,” says Laine. “We got a little more time with him, thanks to Fraser.”
How You Can Help
Purchase a heart during National Suicide Prevention Week, September 8-14. Proceeds support mental health services at Fraser.
Spread the love by sending a heart to someone you care about. You’ll have the option to include a message with your heart.
