Mental Health Practitioner I
I'm a Mental Health Practitioner I (MHPI) at Fraser.
I'm a Mental Health Practitioner I (MHPI) at Fraser. I started as a Developmental Trainee (DT) and after completing 2,000 hours as a DT, I was able to move into the MHPI role.
Fraser offers monthly training along with an annual conference and opportunities for education outside the organization. I have been able to grow as a professional and continue to learn throughout my time at Fraser. This is my first job out of college, and I absolutely love it. It has been a great place to learn and develop as a professional.
My favorite thing about Fraser is the focus on clients and families. I especially enjoy that Fraser provides services to the entire family. My favorite part of my job is the incredible clients I interact with on a daily basis. I see their growth and celebrate successes. Being part of a child's journey into learning language, new social skills and playing with their peers is the most rewarding thing I've ever been part of.
At Fraser, you get to work with like-minded people who are passionate about children with special needs and their families. I love working collaboratively alongside other professionals to provide the best care and therapy possible.
