Fraser operates 26 homes for adults and children with disabilities and provides services to address the developmental, health, safety and social needs of each person living here. These single-family houses are located in various suburban and urban neighborhoods.
On-site staff develop and manage day-to-day services to assist each person to participate in the community at his/her highest ability. Family, friends, and a receptive community play a large part in helping each person to achieve important goals. Fraser makes a lifelong commitment to serve the people who receive residential services as long as these services continue to be the best option for them and their needs can be met with available resources.
These homes are through Fraser Residential Services, which provide housing options for more than 200 people with special needs each year. We focus on helping each person to enjoy the highest level of independence possible and to participate in the community.
Children and adults.
Each person must have a diagnosis of a developmental, cognitive or other disability with a waiver from the county of financial responsibility. Referrals are reviewed by Fraser’s residential management team to determine the appropriateness of placement in homes that have openings. If there is no current opening, referral information is kept on file until an appropriate opening occurs.
Room and board paid for by the county of financial responsibility through Group Residential Housing Funds. Services are paid for by waivered funding.
