Fraser® Rehabilitation Services
Fraser occupational therapists provide evaluations and treatment in the areas of fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and sensory integration.
- Fine motor — focuses on the muscles of the hands and eye-to-hand coordination skills needed to accomplish many different tasks.
- Gross motor — focuses on the large muscles of the body
- Self-care and daily living skills – focus on skills needed to dress oneself, such as putting on shoes and socks, buttoning, tying, using utensils, working up to complex skills such as writing.
- Sensory integration — focuses on arousal modulation and coping/calming skills.
Occupational therapy is provided through Fraser Rehabilitation Services, which provide comprehensive evaluation, consultation, and treatment services for children with motor and sensory dysfunction, decreased functional and developmental skills, feeding and swallowing difficulties, and speech, language, and hearing disorders. These therapy services are provided with an interdisciplinary approach and each child’s goals and activities are individualized, based on strengths, challenges, and motivations. Fraser therapists collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and mental health practitioners to maximize results.
Ages Served
Most programs are designed for children up to 7 years of age. Children older than 7 may be served depending on the child, program and the treating therapy team.
Our Staff
- Fraser therapists hold bachelor and masters degrees and are licensed by the state of Minnesota.
- Occupational therapists specialize in working with children.
- In addition to providing a broad range of occupational therapy services, our therapists specialize in working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
- Fraser has occupational therapists who specialize in hand writing programs.
