Fast ForWord™

Fraser® Rehabilitation Services

Fast ForWord™ is a series of computer-based learning programs designed to improve language, reading, and overall communication skills. Fast ForWord™ is appropriate for children who struggle with basic language skills or attention problems as well as adults who want to improve reading comprehension and organizational skills.

Participants spend approximately 90 minutes each day, five days a week, for four to eight weeks, with adaptive and interactive computer exercises.

Fast ForWord™ is provided through Fraser Rehabilitation Services, which provide comprehensive evaluation, consultation, and treatment services for children with motor and sensory dysfunction, decreased functional and developmental skills, feeding and swallowing difficulties, and speech, language, and hearing disorders. These therapy services are provided with an interdisciplinary approach and each child’s goals and activities are individualized, based on strengths, challenges, and motivations. Fraser therapists collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and mental health practitioners to maximize results.

Members of Fraser’s speech pathology staff are certified providers of the Fast ForWord™ programs and licensed through the Scientific Learning Corporation.

Payment/Funding

Clients must first be enrolled in the program which includes a fee of $850* to the Scientific Learning Corporation before beginning sessions. Sessions may be covered by insurance, waiver funds or private pay. Some scholarships may be available pending grant support.
