The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Program at Fraser provides support services to people with disabilities in their homes and in the community as directed by their families. This program is through Fraser Community Supports, which provides people with the assistance that they and their families need to maintain and improve personal health, increase independent living skills and assure community participation. Fraser staff members assess needs and work with families to design custom-made programs. Services are tailored based on each person's needs relating to daily living, health, community involvement and behavior.
Personal care and nursing supervision that are deemed necessary by a physician. Staff follow a written care plan designed for the client’s needs and document necessary information in a manual maintained in the home.
Children and adults of all ages who have developmental, cognitive or other disabilities.
Services are delivered in the person's home and during community activities.
