Program in the Spotlight
Preschool Mental Health Program
To meet the needs of young children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders, Fraser has expanded its Preschool Mental Health Program into the Minneapolis Public School system. Through a unique collaboration with the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Department and Hennepin County, Fraser is currently providing one day treatment classroom on site at a Minneapolis school. Children are enrolled half day in ECSE and half day in Fraser for classroom-based mental health services, play therapy and transition supports. Fraser also provides support services for the children's parents and caregivers. A second Fraser classroom is planned to open this fall. Learn more about these services.
