Community Supports Respite Care
Families who have children with special needs often struggle to find qualified caregivers. Respite care, provided through the Fraser Community Supports Division, offers parents and primary caregivers much needed breaks. Respite services often increase overall family well-being and can decrease the risk for abuse and neglect. Fraser staff are matched with families to provide care that meets the unique needs of each child or adult. Care is provided in family homes on an hourly or daily basis and available during the day, evening, weekends and overnight. Fraser is currently collecting contact information of families that are interested in the future possibility of center-based respite care on Saturdays. For more information, contact Fraser Community supports at 612-767-5150. Read our fact sheet to learn more.
