Division/Location: Fraser Chid & Family Center, Minneapolis (directions).
Status: Part-time

Position Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and/or 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Shifts available for Monday through Friday; Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday)
Job Duties:
- Participate in the planning and implementation of goals and objectives for a child in the Fraser Autism day treatment program.
- Be responsible for knowing the therapeutic goals for each child in the assigned classroom, and how these goals will be accomplished within the group setting.
- Write daily progress notes in parent notebooks.
- Plan, lead, and/or participate in group activities, including music, as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Must have the physical health and stamina to work on a consistent basis with children ages 4 years to 11 years who have typical or special needs.
- High school diploma
- Ability to achieve and maintain status of "not disqualified" upon completion of criminal background studies.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Introduction to Psychology or Child Psychology. Basic knowledge of child development, experience working with young children through babysitting, internships, etc.
