Work Schedule: Position to start approximately first week in August 2008--40 hours per week Monday through Friday with flexibility in work schedule during regular business hours
Job Duties:
- Establishes or maintains/enhances positive working relationships with Fraser constituents, particularly donors, families served by Fraser, and volunteers
- Coordinates the general operation and management of Raiser’s Edge software program including product updates, database entries, changes, and other projects
- Enters and records ongoing contributions in the Development database
- Generates acknowledgement receipts and pledge reminders
- Writes and processes thank you notes to donors
- Runs database queries and reports as needed
- Assists with various administrative tasks, projects and mailings
- Assists with grant and proposal writing and other donor correspondence
- Assists in conducting research for potential corporate, foundation and individual donors
- Coordinates the car donation program plan
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, database management, and research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Occasional need for transportation to attend events/meetings
- Ability to achieve and maintain status of “not disqualified” upon completion of criminal background studies
Qualifications Preferred:
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related field
Approximate Minimum Starting Wage: $13.50 per hour
