Work Schedule: Mondays through Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Create, organize and maintain databases and client/clinician information;
- Define and maintain data elements;
- Create and maintain customizations;
- Create and maintain reports as needed for clinic staff;
- Maintain the data including review and update to insure integrity;
- Define and maintain data elements for clinic outcomes information;
- Design and maintain procedures, systems and forms to effectively support the databases;
- Assist clinic management with process changes related to database implementation and usage;
- Communicate continually with vendors of software and billing clearinghouse services to insure service needs are met;
- Ensure databases, systems and procedures maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with federal HIPAA and state regulations;
- Communicate with clinic staff on a continual basis to respond to information needs and maintain system usage procedures;
- Coordinate with and take technical direction from the Information Technology Administrator on a continual basis to insure ongoing technical support of database applications.
Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, business administration or related field;
- Three to four years experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications;
- Ability to develop and modify database applications;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to achieve and maintain status of “not disqualified” upon completion of criminal background studies.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Database maintenance and oversight experience in a medical and/or nonprofit environment preferred.
