President and CEO Diane S. Cross

Diane Cross has been president and CEO of Fraser since 1989. Diane has advanced Fraser from a $1.0 million operation serving 200 clients annually to a nationally recognized multi-service organization with a $25 million budget, a staff of more than 700 and serving thousands of clients each year. 

Diane received her bachelor of science degree with honors from Ohio University; she graduated with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a masters degree in education in speech-language pathology and audiology. Prior to joining Fraser, Diane was the director of Medical Rehabilitation and Education at Courage Center, in Golden Valley, Minnesota. 

Diane currently serves on the following boards and committees:

• University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview Board of Trustees (executive committee);
• University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital, Fairview (chair-board);
• Minnesota Hospital Association Trustee Council;
• Minnesota Women’s Economic Roundtable (member);
• Women Business Leaders in Healthcare Industry Foundation (member).

Diane has received numerous awards for her dedication and service to the nonprofit and special needs communities, including:

• One of the first five Minnesota Hospital Association Trustees to complete MHA's Board Certification Program;
• Founding member, Partners in Community Supports;
• Recognized in 2007 as an industry leader by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal;
• Recipient of the State Vocational Rehabilitation Volunteer Award;
• Appointed by Governor Tim Pawlenty to the Minnesota Early Learning Foundation;
• Appointed by Governor Arne Carlson to the Minnesota Hearing Impaired Services Act Committee;
• Appointed by Governor Jesse Ventura to the Governor's Interagency Coordinating Council on Early Childhood Intervention;
• Recognized by the National Occupational Therapy Association;
• Recipient of the American Music Therapy Association Advocacy Award;
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology;
• Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (past member); and
• Founding member, Fraser Academy, a Minnesota Charter School.
