I give [description of asset or percentage of property, or dollar amount] to Fraser, a Minnesota nonprofit organization, with administrative offices currently located at 2400 W. 64th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55423. Federal ID# 41-0781858.
"My husband and I first became familiar with Fraser in 2001, when our older daughter became employed there. Our younger daughter was diagnosed with ADHD in second grade and developed seizure disorder in 2003. But it was not until 2005 that she received her correct diagnosis of Pervasive Developmental Disorder, on the autism spectrum, from Fraser. This diagnosis has helped her get the kind of services, counseling, and medication that she needs, and also helped Harlan and I learn about this disorder and meet her needs. Because of the great work that Fraser does — from diagnosis through all services for individuals with disabilities including home care, residential, and clinical services -- we decided to include Fraser in our giving plans. Not only do we give some donations each year, but last fall I formed an irrevocable charitable trust, purchased a life insurance policy on myself, and left the proceeds to charity — a large portion of which will go to Fraser. Purchasing life insurance is a way to increase your direct giving (through the tax-deductible premiums) to three to five times the value upon your death, depending upon your age when you purchase the insurance. We are very happy with our decisions, and look forward to Fraser continuing its wonderful work for many decades to come."
